Years in the making, a Swork dream finally comes true — and just in time for full-fledged summer fun!

We’ve written before about our love for our tender East LA community.

As Eagle Rock’s longest standing coffee shop (and in our opinion, the prettiest), we’ve spent all of twenty years truly getting to know our Swork family. Blessed with our central location on Colorado Blvd, we cherish the time we’ve spent sewing deep roots with the parents, the writers, the students, the connoisseurs, the thinkers and the hardworking dreamers who come in every day to make space for themselves in our busy world.

And ever since our remodel in 2015, we couldn’t help but start to dream bigger ourselves.

Starting now, Swork is honored to present our loyal friends and followers with a brand new community space which stands as an expression of renewed joy for our cozy neighborhood. Located around the back corner of the shop, our completely renovated patio will feature expanded seating and atmosphere for our patrons, as well as play host to a variety of summer community events in the making (which we will be announcing very soon!)

So whether you’re new to the neighborhood or one of the faithful friends we couldn’t keep away from our coffee if we tried, be sure to check out our new back patio, and stay tuned for exciting events to come!
